My name is Debbie Smith and I am a member of the Irish Professional Dog Grooming Association, and hold an Advanced City and Guilds Dog Grooming 7750 Qualification and others listed below.
My commitment to continuous training and improving my skills includes attendance at professional seminars and competitions and I am currently studying for qualifications in animal behaviour.
I am an active member of the Committee of the IPDGA, with responsibility for the members’ newsletter, event organisation, publicity and Assistant Treasurer.

Hand Stripping Prize in 2010 PDGA Championships
Following my success in the October 2009 I.P.D.G.A. Grooming Championships, where I was awarded first place in the Clipped Class with a Cocker Spaniel and a Merit Award in the Scissor Class with my own Wheaten Terrier, I was awarded 2nd Prize in the Hand Stripping Competition this year.
